2019 was a year of change. An era ended, another began: Szénás Zalán moved back to his hometown and started to observe the world in a new way with an analog camera in hand.
Analog photography is a gesture. A choice instead of digital speed. A deliberate slowdown, a kind of resistance against the rush of everyday life. Here, there is no immediate result and infinite correction possibilities. There is only the moment – worth capturing.
This exhibition is not just a collection of pictures. It is a journey, during which Zalán learned to see time differently. Photography for him is not just a hobby, but a tool of remembrance, preserving the small beauties of life.
He captures moments that others may not even notice: the light filtering through the trees, the sincerity of a caught movement, the quiet stories behind everyday details.
